Our Story
Built for Nepal's students,
by Nepal's educators.
MCQplex started from a simple frustration: Nepal's students had no tool that truly understood the CDC curriculum. Every exam prep platform was generic, imported, and disconnected from how NEB actually tests.
Why We Exist
The gap we're closing
Nepal's CDC (Curriculum Development Centre) uses a specific four-level cognitive framework — Knowledge, Understanding, Application, and Higher Ability. Bloom's Taxonomy, localised for how NEB evaluates students in SEE, BLE, and NEB exams.
Most students practice questions without knowing which type of thinking they're weak at. A student who scores 60% might be scoring 90% on Knowledge questions and 15% on Application questions — and never know it. MCQplex shows exactly that, chapter by chapter, subject by subject.
We also recognise Nepal's infrastructure reality: students in rural areas study on ₹8,000 Android phones with 3G connectivity or sometimes none. The MCQplex exam engine runs locally on-device, works offline, and syncs when connectivity returns. Built for Nepal's reality, not copied from Silicon Valley.
What Guides Us
Our values
Nepal First
Every design decision asks: does this work for a Grade 10 student in rural areas on a shared Android phone? If not, we rethink it.
Evidence Over Guesswork
Practice without data is just repetition. We give students and teachers the diagnostic precision to act on evidence.
Privacy by Design
Students are minors. We collect the minimum data needed, comply with Nepal's Privacy Act 2075, and never sell data.
Schools as Partners
Teachers and principals aren't customers — they're co-builders. School feedback directly shapes every new feature.
